Tour A: The Cotswolds

Full-Day Tour - Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays 09.30 - 17.30

Our journey across the Cotswolds Upper Slaughter , the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, takes us through the delightful villages of Asthall and Swinbrook to the gateway to the Cotswolds, Burford - for our first stop. We then meander through the lanes to Bourton-on-the-Water, Upper and Lower Slaughter, and Stow-on-the-Wold. After a stop for lunch, our picturesque route takes us to Broadway and Chipping Campden. The return to Oxford is via Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton and Woodstock,
passing close by Blenheim Palace.

Tour B: Stonehenge, Salisbury, & Avebury Stone Circle

Full-Day Tour - Mondays and Fridays 09.30 - 17.30 Stonehenge

South-west of Oxford to Stonehenge, the great and ancient stone circle that is one of the Wonders of the World. Then the short journey to Salisbury, amongst the finest medieval cathedrals in Britain. Crossing Salisbury Plain, we pass through the market town of Devizes and on to Avebury, the world's largest stone circle, at the heart of a pre-historic landscape. We return to Oxford via the White Horse at Uffington, a chalk figure created 3000 years ago

Tour C: Bath & Castle Combe, via Bibury, Cirencester & Tetbury

Full-Day Tour - 09.30 - 17.30 runs on request Bibury

Through the southern Cotswolds, via Bibury, Cirencester and Tetbury, to Georgian Bath, famous World Heritage city. A stroll across Pulteney Bridge to see Bath Abbey, and take time to tour the Roman Baths. Then drive around the city to take in 'skyline drive' and magnificent architecture of The Circus, The Royal Crescent and Lansdown Crescent. On our return journey we visit Castle Combe, considered one of the loveliest Cotswold villages.

Tour D: Stratford-upon-Avon & Warwick

Full-Day Tour - 09.30 - 17.30 runs on request

Shakespeare's Birthplace Travel across the North Cotswolds to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare: we visit the Birthplace and other sites with close connections to England's greatest dramatist and poet, including Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Then the short trip to Warwick, with its magnificent medieval castle, and splendid mix of timber-framed and Georgian buildings - plus a beautiful hidden garden. We return to Oxford via Banbury, made famous by a nursery rhyme.
